IMHO: Bianca and Sierra Casady have done with CocoRosie something very unique these days of cliche and formulaic music: these sisters have created their own universe and their music has developed and grown along their 3 albums. Bianca sort of raps and talks over the music, and Sierra brings the operatic power, which is probably why I listened to them in the first place. Together, and in the company of hip hop beats and quirky toy sounds, they captivate your eardrums song after song, telling you macabre fairytales. One would think that after "La maison de mon rève" it was all said and done and that there wouldn't be much more to explore, but they just keep getting better and better. Their new single "God Has A Voice, She Speaks Thru Me" is friggin delicious.
FAVORITE SONGS: "Not For Sale", "Werewolf", "By Your Side", "Madonna", "Good Friday", "Rainbowarriors", "Promise."
